Specifically spending time in Kuala Lumpur & Sabah? Lonely Planet seems to be very popular but I’m looking for as much info on these two areas as possible. Any advice will be a huge help!

If you wan to have a more specific guide on the area, so far i only know their is one magazine names KL Lifestyle specially dedicated to give guide and introduction to locals and traveller what happend during the months that you visiting Kuala Lumpur.
From Concert to Dinning, From Tourism Spot to leisure. It’s all in there. But dunno whether is suite to you or not? Just have a look on it.

You may get the magazine for free from tourism info counter or major hotels for free or you may purchase it from news stand for the price not more than RM5.

I will help you to look for others more specific guidebook.
