how can i make a bettr travel guide so people wont have 2 carry around big books of them while traveling?

i have traveled alot and i am so tired of carrying around a 150 pg travel guide. Whats something new i could use to travel with so i dont have to lug that huge encyclopedia like book around???
I was thinking something like a PDA where all of the travel info is already installed on the device…its lightweight and im sure easy to use
